This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Adaptiveware (pty) ltd ("Developer," "We," "Us") collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users ("User" or "You") of the Love Dare mobile application (the "App").

2. The Data We DO NOT Collect

The Love Dare App is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect, store, or share any personal identifying information (PII), usage data, or analytics data outside of what is strictly necessary for the App to function.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number (beyond the account you create)
  • Your device's precise location
  • Any personally identifiable data from your device's storage or other apps

3. Data Required for App Functionality

User Account Credentials

Purpose: To authenticate your identity and link your purchase and content to your account.
Storage: Secured on the Developer's server
Sharing: Not Shared

Diary Entries

Purpose: To allow you to write and review private reflections.
Storage: Stored locally on your device and can be backed up to your personal cloud service
Sharing: Completely Private. Not stored on Developer servers

Community Comments

Purpose: To enable community interaction (posts, replies).
Storage: Secured on the Developer's server
Sharing: Shared publicly within the App community

Progress Tracking

Purpose: To save which dares you have completed or favorited.
Storage: Secured on the Developer's server
Sharing: Not Shared

Purchase/Payment Status

Purpose: To verify your Premium Upgrade status for feature access.
Storage: Verified through the respective App Store (Apple/Google)
Sharing: Not Shared

4. Community and Anonymous Posting

You have the option to post comments anonymously within the App.

If you choose to post non-anonymously, your user account name/handle will be displayed alongside your comment.

⚠️ Important: Do not post any sensitive personal information in public comments.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure of the data stored on our servers (Account Credentials, Comment Data, Progress).

Security Note: However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
